Kind, clear, and useful
Start from a real problem
Every app begins with something that got in the way of daily life. If it does not fix that, it does not ship.
Be kind by default
No nagging, no guilt, no streaks to keep. Open the app, do the thing, and leave. Notifications stay off until you turn them on.
Respect your privacy
Your data stays on your device wherever possible, with a plain export so you can leave any time. The apps collect only a minimal amount of fully anonymous usage and crash data, so we can understand how they are used and improve them. Nothing that identifies you, and never the content you put in.
Be clear and transparent
What the app does, what it costs, and what it does with your data are on the page before you download. If something is not ready, the page says "Coming soon".
No dark patterns
No fake urgency, no hidden subscriptions, no buttons designed to trick you. Free, or a price you can see up front, and that is what you pay.
Small on purpose
Each app does one job, or a few closely related ones. We would rather leave a feature out than make the app harder to use.

- Collecting anything that identifies you
- Dark patterns

- Notification spam
- AI where it is not needed
