Privacy
Privacy, built in
BabyLog has no account, and everything you put in stays on your device. The app collects only a minimal amount of fully anonymous usage and crash data, so we can understand how it is used and improve it. Nothing that identifies you, and never your content. There are no ads, and nothing is sold or shared. The details are in the privacy policy.

Questions
Is BabyLog free?
Yes. There are no ads and no in-app purchases.
Do I need an account?
No. Open the app and start logging.
Where is my baby's data stored?
Only on your phone. We have no server that stores your baby's profile, logs or measurements, so we cannot see them.
Does the app send anything out?
Two things, both anonymous. Crash reports when the app has a problem, and usage counts such as "a feed was logged", without the time, amount or notes. Your baby's name, birth date, age and measurements are never sent. If you choose to send feedback, your message and basic device information (system and model) reach us. The privacy policy has the details.
What happens if I change phones or uninstall?
BabyLog has no sync yet, so export a CSV before you switch. Your phone's own backup may carry the data to a new phone, but BabyLog cannot promise that. Uninstalling the app deletes the data on that phone.
Can I import data from a CSV file?
Not yet. CSV export is for reading, sharing with a doctor and keeping an archive.
Can both parents use it?
This version runs on one phone, and anyone can use that phone. Syncing between phones is not available yet.
Can I track more than one child?
Not yet. This version tracks one child per phone.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Logging, viewing, measurements and CSV export all work offline.
Does BabyLog replace a doctor?
No. BabyLog is a notebook. It does not diagnose or replace medical advice. If your baby seems unwell, contact a doctor.
Does it compare weight or height to WHO charts?
No. It shows the numbers you enter and how they changed since the last time, without scoring or grading.
Does it send reminders?
Not yet. BabyLog sends no notifications. Each button shows how long ago it was, so you can tell for yourself.
Can I record left or right side, or breast or bottle?
There is no dedicated field yet. Put it in the note. Recent notes appear as chips, so reusing one is a single tap.
A nap runs past midnight. Which day does it count for?
The day it started.
Can I use oz, lb and °F?
Yes. You can change each unit separately in Settings.
Is it available in English?
Yes, in English and Vietnamese. It follows your phone's language, and you can change it in Settings.
