Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Moneylog app. The app is still being built. This page describes how it is designed to handle your data, and it will be updated before release.

What Moneylog stores

Moneylog stores the amounts, notes, categories and currencies you enter. All of it is saved on your device only. There is no account, and no server that receives your entries.

What we do not collect

• No account details. There are no accounts.
• No advertising or tracking SDKs inside the app.
• No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
• No selling or sharing of your data with anyone.

Anonymous usage and crash data

Moneylog collects a minimal amount of fully anonymous usage and crash data, so we can understand how the app is used and fix problems. It never includes your entries or anything that identifies you.

Purchases

Moneylog is planned as a one-time purchase handled by the App Store. Apple processes the payment. We receive a confirmation of the purchase, but not your payment details.

Crash reports

If your device is set to share crash reports with developers, Apple may pass us an anonymous crash report. It does not include your entries. You can turn this off in your device settings.

Backups

If your device backs up app data to iCloud, that copy is handled by you and by Apple under Apple’s policies.

Deleting your data

Delete the app and your Moneylog data is removed from the device. There is nothing on our side to delete.

Children

Moneylog is not aimed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
